A lifelong resident of the Grand Traverse County, where she lives with her husband, son and three dogs. Amanda is a Rural Readiness Coordinator with the Michigan Office of Rural Prosperity, where she helps rural communities build capacity, develop project plans, and access critical resources to advance their economic and community development priorities. She brings over 10 years of experience in nonprofit administration and fund development, with a focus on securing grants and diversifying funding streams. Additionally, Amanda has spent more than a decade working closely with rural communities across Michigan to help them navigate complex challenges, particularly around housing, planning and zoning, workforce development, and sustainability.
